Jović Confers with State Secretary at Tunisia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Damjan Jović met today with State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ben Ayed, who is visiting Serbia to participate in the High-Level Commemorative Meeting organised to mark the 65th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

During the meeting, the traditionally friendly bilateral relations between the two countries were reaffirmed, along with the readiness of both sides to further strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest.

State Secretary Jović thanked Tunisia for its principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.

Particular attention during the talks was devoted to further strengthening cooperation in the fields of economy and tourism.

Satisfaction was expressed with the confirmation of the Republic of Tunisia’s participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade, which will provide an excellent opportunity to welcome large numbers of visitors from Tunisia, as well as government and business delegations.
