Jović Confers with Egypt’s Deputy Foreign Minister
The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Damjan Jović met today with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mohamed Abou Bakr, on the margins of the High-Level Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade.
The interlocutors highlighted the importance of preserving and fostering the legacy of the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as its fundamental principles and values.
Both sides expressed their readiness to further deepen and advance economic cooperation, building on the high level of political relations and the traditionally close ties between the two countries.
Satisfaction was expressed with the confirmation of the Arab Republic of Egypt’s participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade, which will provide an excellent opportunity to welcome large numbers of visitors from Egypt, as well as government and business delegations.
